Cryptocurrency ether hits all time high of $4,400

Ether the world's second biggest crypto currency hit a record-breaking high on Friday, barely seven days after bigger opponent Bitcoin set its own standard.

 

The token, which supports the ethereum blockchain network, rose as much as 2.6% to $4,400 in Asian hours, breaking the past top of $4,380 set May 12.

Cryptocurrency markets have energized forcefully as of late, and ether is up more than 60% since its late September box.

 

Bitcoin, which hit its record high of $67,016 on Oct. 20 was last 1.4% higher at $61,457, up around half since late September.

Among the greatest late movers in cryptographic forms of money nonetheless, is image based Crypto currency shiba inu whose cost has soared around 160% this week, and is presently the world's eighth biggest token.

Shiba inu is a side project of dogecoin, itself brought into the world as a parody of a Cryptocurrency free for all in 2013, and has scarcely any practical use.
