Development in Aero science Hydrogen Based Engine. Is it future or What !

Air lines industry is reaching new heights with cutting-edge technology.

Startups are making strides in developing planes powered by hydrogen fuel cells. These planes aim to reduce carbon emissions and revolutionize air transportation. Some large companies are working on this revolutionary idea but only a few are calming to be results in the coming future. One of the most renowned airline companies as launched its future project and named it Airbus ZEROe Project.

Airbus aims to bring the world’s first hydrogen-powered commercial aircraft to market by 2035 AD. Hydrogen is seen as Game maker for upcoming future. Some of the major advantage of Hydrogen based engine would be, Hydrogen is clean and abundant in nature. When used in aviation, it has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Not like other aviation fuels, hydrogen combustion produces only water vapor as a byproduct, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

Its might be true that Hydrogen combustion is safer for environment but it’s have its own challenges and difficulty. Well the problem that arises in front of engineer team is storage. Liquid Hydrogen has a low density, requiring innovative storage solution. Airbus is exploring lightweight, efficient tanks that are capable enough to hold liquid hydrogen in high-speed aircraft. Not only for planes have we had to build infrastructure for the hydrogen supply chain. We have to make sure its production as well as transportation is done in the same high-quality tanks. Which is for sure would be a fortune to obtain.

ZEROe Aircraft have provided us with unique concept of aircraft. Like turbofan, turboprop, blended wing body, and fully electrical design cater to different ranges passenger capacity.
