Are you eagerly awaiting your SEE results for the academic year 2080/2081? The Office of the Controller of Examination (OCE) in Sanothimi Bhaktapur is nearing the announcement of this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results, scheduled to be released by 14 Ashad 2081 (June 28, 2024).


This year, more than 500,000 candidates participated in the SEE exams, conducted from March 25th to April 9th, 2024. Among them were 250,772 female students, 253,627 male students, and 15 students from sexual and gender minorities, representing a diverse cohort from 10,806 public and private schools nationwide. The exams were administered across 2,064 centers, with Kathmandu hosting the most at 127 centers, while Manang and Mustang districts had just one each. A dedicated workforce of 77,485 individuals ensured the smooth conduct of the examinations, aligned with the secondary education curriculum of 2022.


Evaluation Criteria and Changes


This year's SEE results will be assessed based on the Letter Grading Directive 2078, which incorporates both theoretical and internal assessments. To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 35% in theory and 40% in practical exams, reflecting an adjustment from previous years.
